Prologue After The Prologue

 We were expected to reach the Island of Dawn in a couple of hours, so I had gone to take a quick nap before to rest my strength for later. I woke up about an hour in my nap to find the boat filled with water. I reached behind my back to make sure my disc was there and ran out into the hallway. As an Elin I could swim faster than the other races but that didn't mean i could hold my breath forever.  The ship was rocking and I knew the only way out would have to be forced.
 Since I was on the lower part of the ship, it would take longer to get to safety, so I would have to hurry. Adrenaline  was rushing through me, making my swimming stronger. I didn't think about dying, a good thing too I would probably have not made it. Good news, I was almost at the top. Bad news, we were about to go under. I saw a solider failing about in the water, I grabbed him quickly, the water making him easier for little me to carry him.
 I had to swim about two inches before getting to the top. The solider business was not going well, he had stopped failing around but his breathing was starting to come less frequently. I was finally starting to panic, which was probably a bad idea but I was able to haul him over to shore next to a medic and then flopped on the ground, exhausted.
  After awhile I had regained most of my strength, I had went to go see a guy fretting over Elleon. He said a search team was needed to find him. I looked around, I was really the only volunteer standing. I raised my hand. It took some convincing but soon I was able to go meet up with some weaponry people who fixed up my sorcerer's disc and then went to get some gear.

 I really didn't understand how what they put me in was "gear" but I wasn't complaining. They had sent me to a cave through which the evil had made their base. I spent about twenty minutes looking for the cave since no one had given me directions. Checking for holes in rocks, trying to find any loose rocks which might open into the cave. I sighed well until I found the cave that is. A huge gaping hole which I seemed to have missed.

   See the rock on the left side right there until farther shows the entrance to the cave. I had never felt like such an idiot in my life. Stupidity would not help me succeed so I went into the cave and met up with a few guys. I asked them some questions about what exactly I would meet. They weren't too certain but they assured me that soldiers would be there to assist with what they could. I walked further into the cave until I came upon a ..... a ....... honestly I have no idea what this thing is. (The thing down there)

     Looks like a hideout for evil to me for sure.  I shuddered a little and continued up the walkway. The "gear" they had suited me up with didn't withstand the cold. Pretty soon I came to a ladder, it looked old and rickety. To reassure myself when I was climbing, I kept chanting "Soldiers heavy than me had to come up this," over and over again. I came up to a little hut where a guard told me to climb another ladder and it would lead me to the fighting.
 Mentally reviewing my spells as I went up the ladder helped calm me a little. Until I saw dead soldier's blood on the floor. Now was not the time to be a wimp so a launched some fireballs around the corner to check if anything was there. I peeked around the corner and saw a guard's base with about thirty-five guards.
 I ran down there as fast as I could. When I got there a guard warned me to be careful of the disc reapers. Disc Reapers are basically evil robotic things with a sharp disc at the middle. Not a smooth one either. It was ragged. Pretty soon I flung myself into combat launching a few fireballs here and there and a ice block there. Soon I saw Elleon fighting through the crowds, I had never been more relived. Pretty soon Elleon's comrades showed up to lead us the the big boss. This was it! My Time to shine!

     We were almost done fighting the boss! It was so thrilling! It was also very tiring and I knew we could not fight for a long time. With the final strike of Elleon's power the monster fell defeated! We celebrated! It was wonderful! Until a bigger faster monster spawned. My survival instincts kicked in and I ran and I ran until I collapsed in a heap.
  They found my body two days later. The first body they had found. Elleon's body was missing and he was presumed dead. The evil had spread the rest of TERA. I had fallen into depression believing Elleon's death was all my fault. My mother had flown in to try and help me but it was no use and you could tell there was something unspoken on her lips.

      Soon I found out what that was. Poporia had been ripped through by evil. The usually green and inviting Poporia had become this. I spent most of my time in bed. Desilyn my best friend, came to visit me. There was always worry in her eyes. One day she even broke down and cried in front of me. The only thing that awoke me was that recruits were being sent in to the Island of Dawn. I was extremely rusty and was now a level 1 sorcerer but I was going. On the slight chance that Elleon was alive I was going to find him.

A Tour Of Pora Elinu?

 Welcome to my home. Pora Elinu in Lake of Tears in Poporia. I spent all of my childhood here leading up to 16 when I left for the Island of Dawn. I've been given you the special task of showing you my undamaged  hometown. Evil still lurks around Pora Elinu but the force of the magic we've put up has held them off for destroying it for now at least.

We're approaching it, and here we are! Pora Elinu is a small town situated in Lake of Tears. One of the most beautiful places I've seen throughout my short life. So far this area seems empty of evil well except those frogs those evil things. Though I can't explain my hatred of those frogs, I can say I was delighted at shooting my fireballs at them! Right. MOOOOOOVING on ....

     
    This is Arin, the princess I was telling you about. I may not have captured the best side of her but she just
hates photos being taken of her. Plus she hasn't been in the brightest of moods considering the evil trying to take over Pora Elinu and the fact she has no love. Its hard for an Elin princess to find a prince because Popori's are the only chance and Arin is not the biggest fan or Popori's. Go Figure.

 
This is my house. I know not the loveliest of places but its close to the school. Ten other families live in their with us, its the house of sorcerers and the house of mystics is just next door! Of course you can switch houses depending if you choose another subject to study but most people don't. Either they don't like ruining the line of whatever classes have come before them or they like rooming with their family.

Over there by the tree is where I had first really bonded with Max. I can remember the night now, It was so perfect, we were just looking out at the water and a laughing and at one point staring deep into each other's eyes but the tour isn't over yet! I have one more place to show you!

As you can see my friends that vine over there has some of the happiest times of my childhood. Racing up the vines to see who could get up first and it lead to the second floor something only accessible through  here or the princess quarters. At the top my friends and I would jump off into the water usually providing serious injury but it was fun and it wasn't anything a little sorcerer magic couldn't fix! On that last note I say goodbye, It has been fun getting to show you around my home town of Pora Elinu.

Prologue Before The Prologue

 Before i was sent to the Island of Dawn when it was a place of wreck . Rainy, broken ships and wounded soilders. And when i went back to help find Elleon. I grew up in Poporia in a place called Pora Elinu. I was born  at dawn to my mother Spaleen. Elins have no fathers mainly because Elins are only female. So how do you get Elin babies? In a land of magic it is quite simple. Especially if your in a line of sorcerers. A little magic there and a little magic there you have a baby.
 I spent most of my childhood running about Pora Elinu with my friends and sometimes we would go swimming in the lake. Of course this was all before the evil had invaded. We would even dare each other to go in the haunted house. That always ended up with all of us running away screaming. Having no care in the world.
  My beautiful mother had been teaching me spells for as long as I can remember and teaching me ancient history about the Elins. Of course I hadn't really paid much attention to her until two years before I set off to the Island of dawn to help Elleon with the beasts there.
 I had always wondered why magic existed. Priests, Mystics and Sorcerers really seemed pointless to the Lancers, Warriors, Slayers, Archers and Berserkers. Why must magic exist when there are weapons deadly enough to slay a dragon with just one hit. Of course at a later date in magic school I learned that monsters have magic and simple weapons couldn't conflict the magic like magic wielders can.
  I haven't really told you much about myself have I? I'm short as all Elins are. Have white as ice skin. Well what did you expect living in a place where it's always dark? I'm a rabbit Elin as you can see in the picture i have included below of me at the Island of Dawn the first time.



Where was I again? Oh right Magic School. As I have said before My best friend was a mystic so of course we went to the same school. Pora Elinu's School Of Magic. Whereas everyone not studying magic went to Pora Elinu's School Of Tactics.
  Okay so now about my love life. Well since we Elins barely ever leave Pora Elinu love life in pretty non- existent unless we get lucky and a traveling Castanic, Human or High Elf  family comes and sticks down their children. That is how I met Maximilian.  Of course his being an archer meant he wouldn't go to the same school but hey a girl could always try. Besides I tend to fall for hot tactics guys and you will learn later in the story.
  I'm not going to bore you with tireless stories of checking out each other in the hallway and blushing. So we'll go to where thing get interesting. Three months before I left I saw Max skipping rocks at the other end of the lake. I remember calling his name out and going over by him.We talked for hours and somewhere during that night his hands slipped onto mine and just as we were about to kiss my best friend burst out through some bushes and blushed seeing she had intruded on something.
 Max and I started hanging out a lot more. Of course the evil had began creeping up through Poporia. They sent in some Castanic and Aman recruits but they were no match for the evil magic. Soon they had found a new island called the Island of Dawn everyone thought it would be a safe place for everyone  to be safe. They wanted some people from each race to join together.
   When i heard about It I knew it had to be me. I read through books of sorcerer magic until I had a level 20 sorcerer ability.  I trained an trained and then everyone knew, that i was going to be the one to go because it was prophetic. The princess had a found a book claiming that Abiley and her comrades would be the one to save the world of TERA!
 On the day before I left I spent a long time talking to my best friend and saying good bye to my mother, who had taught me everything that would keep me safe. She told me my instinct would save my life and to be careful and that she loved me. I never saw Max until I was running to leave, he grabbed me from behind a kissed me. A kiss I would remember  for as long as I could. He strapped a locket around my neck inside was a picture of me and him on the lake that night. I looked at him longingly and ran to the Pegasus which would take me to Velika where I would board a ship to the Island Of Dawn but nothing could have told me what a terrible trip it would be ......
